Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist

At Radiology Associates of Daytona, we are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Job Summary

The Computed Tomography Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans. This includes greeting patients, providing instructions on procedures, scheduling patients, and assisting with clerical functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position patients for CT scans using patient positioning devices and adjust equipment to select the appropriate radiation exposure.
  • Prepare and dispense contrast media and barium.
  • Ensure equipment is in working order and report malfunctions to the supervisor.
  • Perform exams accurately per established protocols, policy, and patient safety standards.
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and collate processed images in proper order.
  • Provide orientation and training to new CT Technologists and student technologists.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiologic technology.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in radiography and/or computed tomography.
  • Licensed in the State of Florida and ARRT certification in Radiography (RT(R)).
  • Current ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred.
