Job Summary
A Regional Women's Health Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Appointment Scheduler to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for managing large volumes of inbound and outbound calls, scheduling appointments for multiple providers, and ensuring seamless patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume call center operations, responding to patient inquiries and scheduling appointments in a timely manner
- Assist 100+ patients per day with scheduling appointments for 5+ providers, ensuring accurate and efficient scheduling processes
- Understand and apply scheduling rules and provider templates to ensure optimal scheduling practices
- Enter patient information, handle insurance documentation, and create patient charts in multiple systems
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient concerns and escalating issues to management as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a call center or scheduling role, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Proficiency in computer software and systems, including electronic health records
