Position Overview
The Manufacturing Process Specialist plays a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency of our production operations. Our client, a reputable electronics manufacturer, is renowned for its contributions to various sectors including medical, aerospace, defense, and industrial communications.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of intricate assembly processes for complex Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) to meet client specifications.
- Align production capabilities with technological advancements and customer expectations by integrating innovative solutions.
- Serve as a technical advisor to the production team, focusing on process optimization, quality standards interpretation, and training initiatives.
- Identify and spearhead projects aimed at elevating quality, enhancing process control, and boosting productivity.
- Foster technical expertise among production and support staff through effective training and mentorship.
- Design and execute experiments to refine processes and expand organizational knowledge.
- Assess and recommend circuit board processes and equipment for implementation.
- Maintain and cultivate professional relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
- Evaluate circuit boards for cost-effectiveness, quality, and manufacturability.
- Educate teams on methodologies to streamline operations, enhance problem-solving capabilities, and minimize waste.

Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a focus on initiating process enhancements.
- Proven problem-solving abilities, project management experience, and effective teamwork skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-centric approach.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
- Familiarity with PCBA processes such as wave soldering, selective soldering, cleaning, and SMT automation.
- Experience within an ISO9001 / AS9100 / ISO13485 certified quality management framework.
- Expertise in process design and control is essential.

Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of IPC-610, J-STD, IPC 7711/7721, IPC-A-600, and ANSI/ESD S20 standards.
- Experience in contract manufacturing environments is a plus.
