Patient Transport Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Transport Specialist to join our team at Cooley Dickinson Health Care. As a key member of our Support Services department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth transportation of patients, mail, and packages throughout the hospital.
As a Patient Transport Specialist, you will be responsible for transporting patients safely and efficiently to all areas of the hospital, including the morgue. You will also sort, process, and deliver mail and packages using various delivery companies, including United States Postal Service, United Parcel Service, and Federal Express.

Job Description- Transport patients, mail, and packages safely and efficiently throughout the hospital.
- Sort, process, and deliver mail and packages using various delivery companies.
- Maintain accurate records and track charges for outgoing letters and packages.
- Prepare special mailings with the Postal Service, including First Class, Pre-sort, and Third Class Bulk Mailings.
- Distribute interoffice memoranda and doctor's reports to the proper locations.
