Medical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Support Specialist to support our Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine Department at Mass General Brigham in Northampton, Massachusetts. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will work closely with our healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the department's success.
Responsibilities- Assist with patient care, including conducting examinations and performing procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Perform clinically appropriate tasks related to patient panel management, such as phone calls, test results, and prescription refills
- Ensure efficient patient flow through the office
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- BLS or Annual Manikin training, including CPR and AED after 6 months of hire
- Strongly preferred: Medical Assistant Course or diploma program, or a minimum of 1 year of professional experience
- National MA Certification via AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT
- Pulmonary, Allergy, or Critical Care specialty experience preferred
The estimated annual salary for this position is around $45,000. We also offer a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and employee assistance programs.
