The University of Central Florida's Chemistry department in the College of Sciences seeks a highly qualified Postdoctoral Scholar to join the Nanophotonic Materials Group. This is a 24-month position, extendable upon mutual agreement and availability of funds.
Responsibilities:- Design, fabricate, characterize, and analyze novel 3D nanophotonic devices for focusing and imaging.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of reports for external partners and project meetings.
- Mentor junior members of the Group and assist in the development of new research proposals.
- Have the opportunity to teach, if desired.
- Hold a Ph.D. or equivalent in a physical science, engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Be a US citizen.
- Hold a Ph.D. in chemistry, physics, optics, materials science, or engineering.
- Have interdisciplinary research experience in these fields.
