Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at K2 Medical Research. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing technical laboratory functions, including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and immunology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct laboratory tests and procedures with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Report test results to healthcare providers and nurses, alerting them to any abnormal results.
  • Ensure quality control in collecting specimens and maintain accurate record keeping.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, including setting up, calibrating, cleaning, and testing for sterility.
  • Comply with all laboratory policies and OSHA regulations related to safety, cleanliness, and infection control.
  • Assist the Lab Manager as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree or higher preferred.
  • Medical laboratory experience preferred; MLT, ASCP, CPT, or AMT certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of medical laboratory principles, standards, applications, and tests.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills.
  • Ability to maintain patient, team member, and employer confidentiality.
