Behavioral Intervention Specialist

About the Role
Cortica is seeking a skilled Behavioral Interventionist to join its team in Burlington, MA and surrounding areas. As a Behavioral Interventionist, you will provide direct behavior therapy services to individuals with autism and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative healthcare company that is pioneering effective treatment methods for children with neurodevelopmental differences.
Key Responsibilities
Attend Cortica's orientation and complete Board-Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) training
Provide direct implementation of behavior-analytic services to children with autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental differences in both 1:1 and group settings
Implement positive behavior strategies as developed and analyzed with the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Work in various settings, including the home, community, school, clinic, or other designated areas, providing direct behavior-analytic care as determined in the child's assessment and treatment plan
Fulfill all documentation requirements, including data collection and session notes
Assist with individualized assessment procedures through preference assessments and data collection
Work with families and supervisors to establish an environment supportive of treatment and education across all settings of care
Follow Cortica crisis and emergency procedures, including de-escalation strategies and first aid
Requirements
Experience working with children, preferably those with autism
Bachelor's degree in a human service field or relevant work experience
Current Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) or Board-Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) certification or willingness to obtain BCAT credential within 45 days
Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation
Proficiency in software and systems, including electronic medical records and Microsoft Office products
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information

Compensation
The base direct pay range for this opening is $23.62 to $31.69. Compensation will be based on relevant experience, education level, and location.
