Hotel Front Desk Manager Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Hotel Front Desk Manager to provide exceptional service to our guests. As the face of our operation, you'll be responsible for supervising staff, interacting with guests, and ensuring our high standards for customer satisfaction are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compile occupancy reports and financial information for the General Manager
  • Direct front desk operations and ensure customer service meets our high standards for guest satisfaction
  • Hire, train, and supervise front desk staff, including concierge, front desk agents, and ensure they provide excellent guest services and enforce hotel policies
  • Manage the front desk budget and order office supplies as needed
  • Communicate with hotel guests face-to-face and over the phone, ensuring all their questions are answered satisfactorily, and handle any complaints
Requirements:
  • Proficient bookkeeping skills, including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel, strongly desired
  • At least 1 year of hospitality experience required
  • Superb communication, management, and multitasking skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent certification (GED) required
  • Over 2 years of experience in office management in the hospitality industry as a front desk supervisor or similar position
