About the Role

Fanatics is a leading sports fan destination that ignites and harnesses the passion of fans globally. As an AP Specialist for Athlete Partners, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the complete and accurate processing of payable items on behalf of Fanatics Collectibles. This includes working directly with the Athlete Partners team to create and maintain supplier records in the payables system, validating and submitting invoices as needed, and ensuring timely payment of vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform day-to-day full-cycle accounts payable transactions to ensure accurate and timely payment processing
  • Ensure rapid processing of new vendor setup and vendor record change requests
  • Research any invoice/payment discrepancies
  • Ensure the Athlete Partners team is kept apprised of the status of vendor setup, invoice processing, and payment activities
  • Verify transactions comply with accounting policies and procedures
  • Reconcile vendor statements and respond to all vendor inquiries
Requirements
  • Associate degree in accounting and/or equivalent certification
  • 5+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
  • Proficient in using accounting systems and software, including ERP systems; Oracle experience a plus
  • Experience with the set up and maintenance of the vendor master file
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
What We Offer

Fanatics offers a competitive hourly rate of $36.06 to $43.27 per hour, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
