Job Summary:
As a key member of the LifeBridge Health team, the Women's and Children's Clinical Information Systems Director will serve as the principal leader and advocate for nursing informatics and clinical technology advancement for inpatient Women's and Children's Health Services. This role will promote the use of technology to optimize nursing work processes, support the delivery of evidence-based care, and monitor nursing practices and associated patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to leverage technology and improve nursing workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement clinical decision support systems
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement in nursing practices
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to clinical informatics
- Provide education and training to nursing staff on clinical informatics and technology
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred
- 3-5 years of Women's and Children's clinical experience required
- Clinical Informatics experience preferred
- Maryland Registered Nurse License
- Professional Certification within 1 year of hire
