We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Director to lead our clinical department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day clinical and administrative tasks, including patient care plans, supervisee clinical notes, and employee schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct clinical services to agency clients, carrying a caseload and ensuring services meet Maryland mental health program model guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with BHA, COMAR, and CARF policies and procedures.
  • Hire and train staff within the EMR system.
  • Develop and maintain the department budget.
  • Assess employee performance and discipline as needed.
  • Oversee department compliance with legal guidelines, policies, and quality standards.
  • Ensure up-to-date medical records and care-related documentation.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee patient care services delivery.
  • Develop schedules for all employees.
  • Prepare reports and budgets for regulatory agencies and BHA.
  • Collaborate with team members for client care coordination.
  • Facilitate group supervision and team meetings.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in clinical administration or related field, with LCSW-C or LCPC licensure.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a clinical director or managerial position.
  • Post-grad experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with severe mental illness.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Aptitude for resolving administrative issues and conflicts.
  • In-depth knowledge of policies and regulations in the clinical field.
  • Valid malpractice insurance and driver's license required.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and knowledge of Maryland mental health regulations and program development.
