Human Resources Business Partner Role
A leading international manufacturer and supplier of furniture fittings and architectural hardware, serving both residential and commercial markets, is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join their team. As a key member of the organization, the Human Resources Business Partner will serve as a human resources liaison to employees and managers regarding employment-related matters, as well as administer the Leave of Absence management protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address questions and resolve issues related to workplace policies, practices, and legal matters, fostering a positive environment across all locations, including for remote staff.
- Provide ongoing coaching and proactive support to leaders, identifying necessary training through both internal and external resources.
- Lead workplace investigations into allegations of wrongdoing, ensuring a fair process and offering resolutions.
- Manage the separation process, conducting exit interviews and sharing insights that contribute to leadership decisions.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce staff turnover and enhance team cohesion.
- Attend and contribute to management meetings, delivering HR solutions tailored to specific needs, and partner with managers to ensure policies and practices are consistently applied.
- Prepare and deliver regular HR reports for leadership to foster informed decision-making.
- Emphasize continuous improvement and follow standard operating procedures to ensure accurate recordkeeping.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or business-related field required
- 5+ years of experience, with a focus on employee relations required
- Working knowledge MS Office, ATS, and HRIS systems required
- Experience with UKG or UltiPro a plus
- PHR or SPHR Certifications a plus
