About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our strategic direction, build our reputation and competency in our operating markets, and ensure high-quality consulting and executive search services are provided to our clients. The successful candidate will have a unique blend of skills and experiences, including entrepreneurial approach to building and growing our business, connection and commitment to serving nonprofit and social sector clients, blended experience working within the for-profit arena as well as in the nonprofit community as a consultant, staff executive leader, or board member, and ability to develop client base from prospect identification to closed business in multiple markets and with a range of service offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Strategic Planning and Vision: Develop a strategic plan for Valtas' growth and impact over the next three years, aligning with existing strategy when applicable.
  • Grow Member Value: Execute our strategic plan while safeguarding and growing the interests of our owners.
  • Grow Revenue: Serve as primary business development leader for Valtas.
  • Oversee Consulting and Search Services: Work with the Consulting Practice Managers in identifying, screening, and engaging new consultants, and develop resources for consulting teams. Work with Search Practice Leader to grow the practice while ensuring consistency of the quality of service. Mentor partners and future leaders.
  • Support Our Clients: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring quality control in all firm services.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for leading growth and scaling an organization across multiple markets, experience in business development, sales, and marketing functions within a growing organization, financial literacy and the ability to effectively manage organizational growth and change, excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire confidence in team members, owners, and other stakeholders.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $135,000 to $150,000, bonus potential, equity potential, and benefits including medical insurance.
