Fire Service Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Service Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and support to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to service calls and diagnose problems with electronic fire alarm systems and other related building system products
- Perform service and repairs on customer sites, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of issues
- Provide excellent customer service, communicating effectively with customers and district staff to ensure satisfaction
- Complete service acknowledgements and obtain customer signatures upon completion of service calls
- Participate in on-call rotations and help train or mentor others on the service team
- Identify opportunities to upsell and provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions
Requirements:
- 2+ years of documented experience in low voltage electrical systems, including Fire/Life Safety systems, Access Control, Nurse Call, and Paging systems
- Knowledge of test equipment, multi-meter, digital analyzer, and commissioning devices
- Ability to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer requirements
- Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements
- Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test
Preferred Qualifications:
- NICET Level II certification
