Job Description

A Senior Construction Executive at Overaa Construction is responsible for delivering construction projects successfully to clients. This involves careful pre-planning, de-risking project variables, building collaborative client relationships, and inspiring team members to complete projects safely and efficiently.

This role requires managing administrative and contractual obligations, business development activities, attending conferences, and participating in project pursuits.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Tactical project execution, including project approach and deliverables.
  • Administrative and contractual obligations, including owner contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
  • Business development activities, including strategic partnerships with key client accounts.
  • Attend conferences, tradeshows, and community events.
  • Participate in project pursuits, including leading proposal strategy and assisting with estimating, presentations, interviews, and preconstruction services.

Attributes

  • Desire to work in the water market, focused on improving environmental sustainability and water resource management.
  • Proficiency in managing a range of construction disciplines, including earthwork, structural concrete, process mechanical, and electrical.
  • Knowledge of mechanical process installation, materials, equipment, startup, and operation.
  • Broad experience with pipe, valves, and process equipment.
  • General understanding of earthwork as it relates to underground piping installation and requirements.

Overall Responsibilities and Authority

  • Risk management as it relates to project execution.
  • Job-specific buyout strategy coordination with the Project Executive and estimating team.
  • Developing project budgets, cost control, change management, manpower planning, financial projections.
  • Masterscheduling process collaboration with the project superintendent and trade partners.

Salary Range: $108K-$145K per year
