Job Title: Gas Training Specialist

Southeast Connections, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Gas Training Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the safety and efficiency of the energy sector.

Job Summary:

The Gas Training Specialist will be responsible for administering comprehensive Operator Qualification programs, focusing on training, testing, and evaluating personnel to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement training programs to improve skills and organizational performance.
  • Assess training effectiveness by gathering feedback, monitoring employee performance, and adjusting strategies.
  • Design and conduct training sessions to enhance the workforce's acumen across multiple areas within the organization.
  • Collaborate with industry stakeholders to stay current with regulatory changes and foster a culture of safety within the organization.
  • Ensure that all personnel meet the necessary qualifications to perform their roles effectively.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in HSE (e.g., BCSP, OSHA, NCCER) is preferred, but not required.
  • Natural Gas certifications, including EWN, Veriforce, MEA, ITS, or training certifications are strongly preferred.
  • Five to seven years of demonstrated experience within the Natural Gas industry, including managing OQ Compliance; experience within roles showing progressive amounts of training and leadership ability preferred.
