In the role of Sales Assistance Specialist, you will facilitate the movement of freight through proactive outbound and responsive inbound communication. Your responsibilities will include negotiating service rates with our extensive network of existing carriers while also fostering new relationships. We seek an individual who can effectively interact with diverse personality types and possesses the skills to evaluate needs, prioritize tasks, schedule effectively, and ensure that individual, team, and organizational objectives are achieved to enhance the division.
This position will report directly to a Capacity Manager Coach.

Key Responsibilities
- Delivering exceptional customer service and support.

- Conducting outbound calls and managing inbound inquiries.
- Communicating with carriers via email.
- Assisting Account Managers in achieving their weekly targets.
Qualifications
- Strong background in sales support and customer service.
- Experience with both outbound and inbound calling.
- Organized and effective under pressure with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
- Proficient in multitasking within a Windows-based environment.
- Enjoys collaborating in a team-oriented setting.
- Able to cultivate and manage carrier relationships.
