Job Overview

The University of Cincinnati's College of Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Professional to join our team. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing clinical research projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing technical support to investigators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate clinical research projects, including screening patients for inclusion and documenting adverse events.
  • Coordinate the generation of data for proposals, reports, and manuscripts, and assist in the development of reports.
  • Perform routine physical and clinical procedures, and coordinate nursing and patient care as applicable to research studies.
  • Ensure compliance with contract principles, federal regulations, laws, and University of Cincinnati policy and operating procedures.
  • Maintain regulatory documentation, prepare IRB submissions, and draft subject informed consents and consent comprehension tests.
  • Liaise with medical staff, university departments, ancillary departments, satellite facilities, IRB, and industry contacts.
  • Ensure research staff complete all requisite training, and may serve as a resource person or consultant within the area of clinical expertise.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or five years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training in lieu of education requirement.
  • One year of related experience, or three years of experience for Senior Clinical Research Professional.
  • Appropriate clinical procedural experience for nursing-focused roles.
