Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Back Office Medical Assistant to become an integral part of our healthcare team. This role focuses on supporting our Family Practice, OBGYN, and Pediatrics departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments, measure vital signs, and gather necessary information based on the type of visit.
  • Accurately document patient information in the electronic health record system in a timely manner.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, providing clear explanations of procedures to alleviate any concerns.
  • Ensure informed consent is obtained and verify the accuracy of all documentation before filing.
  • Review electronic medical records for completeness and accuracy, ensuring all test results are available prior to patient consultations.
  • Assist physicians during patient examinations and treatments.
  • Administer medications and immunizations, ensuring accurate documentation in the patient’s electronic health record.
  • Maintain and stock examination rooms with necessary supplies, ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
  • Perform various administrative tasks including appointment scheduling, answering phones, and managing office supplies.

Work Environment:

This position is fully on-site, providing a collaborative atmosphere for healthcare professionals.
