Director, Marketing Fundamentals Training

Gilead Sciences is seeking a highly experienced Director, Marketing Fundamentals Training to lead the development and delivery of global marketing training content. This role will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs that link to marketing competencies, conducting training needs assessments, and evaluating training effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver global marketing training content that meets the needs of all affiliates, including the US.
- Conduct training needs assessments to identify gaps in marketing competencies and develop training programs to address these gaps.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to define desired performance outcomes and the required behaviors, skills, and knowledge needed by different roles to deliver them.
- Develop an inventory of current regional/local existing training programs related to marketing and review them to determine viability for reuse or adaptation at a global level.
- Advanced experience in curriculum development, project management, executive presence, facilitation expertise, and a deep understanding of adult learning principles.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects effectively, influence stakeholders without authority, effectively network across the organization, and communicate with senior leaders.
- Strong leadership, self-direction, comfort, and experience tackling ambiguous and complex problems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, interact with, focus, negotiate, resolve conflict, and drive consensus among individuals from various cultures and disciplines.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to command respect through the exercise of sound business judgment and clear decision-making.
Gilead Sciences offers a competitive salary range of $205,000 to $266,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives, paid time off, and a benefits package that includes company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.
