Job Overview

Department: Front Counter

Reports to: Front Counter Manager, Manager on Duty, General Manager

Consults with: Shift Leader, Head Track Official, Facilities Manager, Track Officials, Front Counter Staff, Event Coordinator, Event Manager

Overall Responsibility: Ensure an exceptional guest experience at Victory Lane Karting and Gasoline Alley. The front counter also manages cleanliness and laundry duties.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:Communication
  • Coordinate with track and event coordinators at the start of each shift to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Provide comprehensive information to incoming shifts regarding walk-ins, events, and laundry.
  • Engage with track officials about racing and customer concerns to maintain a smooth racing experience.
  • Notify management of any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Address any guest or staff-related issues during the shift.
  • Consult with management on special racing events.
Facility Cleanliness
  • Ensure availability of clean head socks, bar towels, and essential supplies at the front counter.
  • Supervise nightly cleaning tasks to prepare the facility for the next day.
  • Manage laundry duties for suits, head socks, and other items.
  • Complete all assigned daily tasks efficiently.
Guest Experience
  • Conduct informative drivers' meetings for first-time guests.
  • Guide guests on locating suits, helmets, and track entrances.
  • Keep guests informed about their race schedules and up-next screens.
  • Handle phone inquiries and return missed calls.
  • Clarify pricing policies and bowling etiquette to guests.
  • Proactively engage with guests to ensure they feel welcomed and informed.
  • Collaborate with management to resolve guest complaints.
Operational Duties
  • Prioritize front counter operations to enhance safety, guest satisfaction, and cleanliness.
Gasoline Alley Responsibilities
  • Identify and report common lane issues to management.
  • Monitor lane cleanliness throughout the day.
  • Ensure safety and proper equipment usage on the lanes.
