About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team at Doctors Care. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for their physician visit by taking vital signs and documenting patient information in our electronic medical record system.
  • Assist with patient services duties at the front desk, including answering phone calls, updating patient demographics, and providing outstanding customer service.
  • Work collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program.
  • Current Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant certification.
  • Excellent computer skills and basic medical terminology knowledge.
  • Healthcare Provider CPR certification and OSHA/HIPAA compliance training.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and weekends, as well as work at other centers as needed.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to reflect our mission, vision, and values through actions and conduct.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Medical Assisting.
