Job Title: Medical Assistant

At Consensus Health, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical providers in delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clinical providers with patient examinations, obtaining and documenting vital signs, and updating electronic medical records.
  • Prepare patients for doctor's evaluations, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, medications, and test results.
  • Provide administrative support, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and handling correspondence.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient practice operations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year degree from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of medical office experience; certification in medical assisting a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, with experience in Athena a plus.
