Job Summary

We are seeking a certified medical assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited medical assisting program, and current certification as a medical assistant or registered medical assistant.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for physician visits by taking vitals and documenting information in the electronic medical record system.
  • Assist with patient services duties at the front desk, including taking phone calls, updating patient demographics, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Work 12-hour shifts and weekends as needed, and be willing to work at other centers as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited medical assisting program.
  • Current certification as a medical assistant or registered medical assistant.
  • Computer skills and basic medical terminology.
  • Healthcare provider CPR certification and training in OSHA/HIPAA compliance.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in medical assisting.
