About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Analyst to join our team at Alcoa's Warrick Operations in Newburgh, Indiana. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and supporting operation tools used by a wide range of Alcoa employees.

The successful candidate will be onsite supporting the team within our office & smelter, streamlining operations, increasing efficiency, and reducing paper use. You will integrate/support/develop Manufacturing solutions that meet site expectations, gather information from different sources and databases, and work closely with various end-users to meet and address their specific needs.

You will also keep projects/reports aligned with Alcoa's standards by working closely with the Enterprise teams, perform testing, customer training, deployment/configuration activities, and support. Additionally, you will participate and support key Digital initiatives at the location, provide project support, and implement improvements that are identified by the operations to improve overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operation tools to support manufacturing operations
  • Streamline operations, increase efficiency, and reduce paper use
  • Integrate/support/develop Manufacturing solutions that meet site expectations
  • Gather information from different sources and databases
  • Work closely with various end-users to meet and address their specific needs
  • Keep projects/reports aligned with Alcoa's standards
  • Perform testing, customer training, deployment/configuration activities, and support
  • Participate and support key Digital initiatives at the location
  • Provide project support and implement improvements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years' experience in Information Technology in operating facilities preferred
  • Reporting BI tools expertise (Excel, SSRS, Power BI, DAX, etc)
  • Experience with transactional SQL Databases
  • Experience with programming language such as.NET, C#
  • Familiarity with the DevOPS, AZURE environment and concept
  • Familiarity with DoForms and/or Mobile devices platform
  • Timeseries System knowledge (OSIsoft PI Historian & PI Asset Framework)
  • Being customer service oriented
  • Analytical, good communication, and problem-solving skills
