Courier Specialist

The Courier Specialist is responsible for verifying all items for precision against quality benchmarks and ensuring timely delivery to clients while collaborating effectively within a team environment. Additionally, assist the restaurant by fulfilling various workstation responsibilities. Adhere to the uniform, appearance, and operational standards set forth in the Operations Manual, PizzaAcademy, Team Member Handbook, as well as complying with federal, state, and local regulations.

Potential earnings, including base pay, tips, and commissions, range from $20 to $35 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute tasks such as preparing the delivery vehicle, familiarizing oneself with the delivery area, verifying orders for quality and precision, adhering to established delivery protocols, and providing exceptional customer service through positive and professional interactions with clients, whether in person or via phone. Approach all tasks with a sense of urgency. Carry out additional assigned workstation duties, including crafting quality products, preparing ingredients, and processing orders.
  • Collaborate as a cohesive team, ensuring punctuality for shifts, supporting colleagues in various workstations, and completing all closing responsibilities, including cleaning, at the end of each shift. Uphold the company's image by adhering to uniform and appearance guidelines. Foster an environment of teamwork, enthusiasm, and enjoyment.
  • Accurately manage order documentation and payment transactions, perform cash management tasks, and utilize the FOCUS System. Enhance sales efforts by suggestively promoting items to increase the average check during order processing and distributing promotional materials during each shift. Safeguard the company's assets by maintaining organized, safe, and clean workspaces while consistently adhering to safety and security protocols.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license in accordance with state laws, proof of insurance, a reliable vehicle, and the capability to drive are required.
  • Skills: Proficient in cash management; strong planning and organizational abilities; effective communication skills.
