University Health seeks a skilled Cardiac Sonographer II to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic cardiac images.
Key Responsibilities- Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic cardiac images.
- Demonstrate knowledge of thoracic anatomy and internal structural anatomy of the heart.
- Apply basic principles of Echocardiography, including M-Mode, 2-Dimensional, and Doppler Ultrasound.
- Perform leadership activities and behaviors.
- Comply with instructions from immediate supervisors and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and patients.
To be successful in this role, you must have an Associate Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and one of the following registries: RDCS with ARDMS or RCS with CCI. Additionally, you should have at least two years of Echocardiography experience.
