**Job Summary**

At University Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic cardiac images.

**Responsibilities**

  • Properly operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic cardiac images.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of thoracic anatomy and internal structural anatomy of the heart.
  • Know the basic principles of Echocardiography, such as M-Mode, 2-Dimensional and Doppler Ultrasound.
  • Perform various leadership activities and behaviors.
  • Comply with instructions from immediate supervisor and/designee.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with co-workers and University Health's employees, patients, doctors, and guests.

**Requirements**

  • Must have an Associate Degree as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
  • Possess one of the following Registries: RDCS-with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or RCS-with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • Must have at least two years of Echocardiography experience.
  • Must have current American Heart Association, Basic Cardiac Life Support.
