About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers. As an Ultrasound Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for ultrasound exams, collecting relevant information and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Compile and maintain accurate records, including patient information and exam results.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

  • Two to three years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist or Sonographer, with a strong background in ultrasound imaging.
  • ARDMS or ARRT registration, with a focus on diagnostic medical sonography.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Associate Degree in a related field, with a strong foundation in medical imaging and patient care.
