Salary:$80,000 - $110,000 per year
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist (PRN) to join our team. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating individuals with speech, language, voice, and fluency impairments. Your expertise will play a vital role in helping patients overcome communication challenges and achieve optimal results.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate hearing and/or speech and language examinations to understand the patient's degree of impairment.
- Formulate treatment plans for speech, language, fluency, voice, or swallowing impairments.
- Educate patients and family members on various communication techniques and strategies to cope with impairments.
- Maintain client information for evaluation, treatment progress, and discharge purposes.
- Develop individualized activities and programs to manage behavior, speech, language, or swallowing problems.
- Participate in meetings regarding patients' progress and contribute to individualized educational planning.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Appropriate certifications and/or licensures.
- 3-5 years of related experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
