The Community Lighthouse Inc is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Supportive Community Specialist to join our team. Job Summary

The Supportive Community Specialist will work closely with clients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans, focusing on socialization skills, daily living skills, school and work readiness, and education. You will also provide crisis intervention and support, utilizing your expertise to help clients navigate challenging situations.

We offer a competitive salary range of $47,900 - $56,000 annually, depending on degree level (Bachelor's or Master's). Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including paid training, flexible schedules, supportive culture, growth opportunities, diversity, equity, and inclusion, up to 3.5 weeks PTO and paid sick leave, six paid holidays, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, paid maternity leave, and 401(k) matching.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and facilitate team meetings as needed
  • Support clients by coaching in areas like socialization skills, daily living skills, school and work readiness, and education
  • Assist in crisis situations by developing and utilizing crisis plans
  • Engage clients in achieving treatment goals
  • Complete required documentation for all client interactions
  • Attend meetings and trainings to stay current on agency practices
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • 1 year of relevant experience working with the target population
  • Flexibility to coordinate with client schedules and attend training, supervision, and meetings
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Spanish is a plus)
  • Reliable transportation and ability to engage in moderate day travel
