Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Support Specialist to join our team at My Next Career Path Staffing. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused approach.

About the Role

In this position, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support for all services procured through Switch's Combined Ordering Retail Ecosystem (CORE). You will engage with various service providers to effectively resolve events on behalf of Switch's customers, act as the primary point of contact for event and incident investigation relating to CORE services, and interpret, investigate, and evaluate operational impact to customers for the CORE services.

You will also create and track all associated service request or incident tickets, troubleshoot, evaluate, and facilitate best solutions, understand and execute appropriate escalation and notification procedures using sound judgement, provide quality, timely, and accurate end-to-end external support of any issues within functional area of responsibility, research and document summaries of incidents, and provide coherent and organized reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert-level support for all services procured through Switch's Combined Ordering Retail Ecosystem (CORE)

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience within the Telecom, Information Technology field or related educational background which includes troubleshooting and critical path creation that leads to problem resolution
  • Demonstrated ability to investigate complex events
  • CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCENT certification recommended
  • CompTIA A+ and Security+ certification recommended
  • High school diploma and applicable trade school consistent with an aspect of critical service delivery
  • Equivalent of education and work experience
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $100,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.

This is a full-time position that requires flexibility to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and shift rotation. You must be punctual, reliable, and able to manage deadlines effectively. You should also have strong organizational skills, customer service solution focus, and be able to efficiently interact with computing systems.
