Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at TEKsystems. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting structured cabling field inspections and creating technical documentation to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform on-site field inspections of structured cabling installations
  • Create and maintain accurate technical documentation
  • Verify that contractors provide required products and installations as per contract
  • Communicate effectively with management and team members to ensure project updates are provided in a timely manner
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in structure cabling and network planning
  • Proven ability to perform Proof of Performance (PoP) testing of network cabling to ensure standards are upheld
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Excel, Word, and Bluebeam
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Familiarity with top technologies including Cisco, Wireless Access Points, Wireless Access Controllers, and Mesh Networking
