Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join TEEMA. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing low-voltage cabling, network device installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance in large commercial facilities.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in IT or related fields and demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot hardware and layer 1 connectivity issues. Fundamental knowledge of networking, hardware, and software is also essential.

This role requires strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively. The successful candidate will also be deadline-oriented and detail-focused.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and evaluate existing wired and wireless network systems
  • Handle repairs and exchanges of defective devices
  • Install, terminate, maintain, and troubleshoot various network cabling infrastructure (CAT 3/CAT 5/CAT 6 copper, fiber, and coaxial)
  • Collaborate on the improvement of network design and connectivity
  • Perform routine network maintenance
  • Maintain and troubleshoot infrastructure hardware such as PDUs, computers, switches, routers, optics, wireless access points, and other transport equipment

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in IT or related fields
  • Fundamental knowledge of networking, hardware, and software
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking
  • Deadline-oriented and detail-focused

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
