Job Title: Assistant Property Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to join our team at Spot On Talent. As a key member of our commercial real estate team, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of assigned commercial portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to and resolve tenant requests and problems in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with assigning work orders to the maintenance team and ensure quality work is performed.
  • Code payables in Yardi Payscan and submit for approval.
  • Prepare and send monthly rent statements, post cash receipts, and assist with annual expense estimates and reconciliations.
  • Maintain lease files and other property records as needed.
  • Draft correspondence to coordinate lease provisions, including notices, defaults, and COI requests.
  • Support the Property Manager with monthly financial reports and annual operating budgets.
  • Assist with billing and collection of tenant billbacks, including sub-meter reading calculations and parking fees.
  • Work to obtain bids and draft service agreements for construction projects.
  • Coordinate holiday decorations, tenant events, and holiday gifts for tenants.
  • Assist with acquisitions and dispositions, and quarterly property inspections.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of commercial real estate assistant property management experience, with office and industrial building experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Yardi experience a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work well with various levels of professionals.
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-through.
