As a vital member of the healthcare team, the Patient Transport Specialist is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of patients within the Diagnostic Imaging department. This role involves assisting technologists and clerical staff while performing various supportive tasks to ensure a smooth patient experience.
Essential Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Licenses and Certifications
- BLS Certification: Must be obtained through the American Heart Association within one month of employment.

- Proficient in basic clerical tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capable of assisting in patient preparation for examinations.
- Responsible for providing essential supportive care to patients during their preparation for exams.
