COMPENSATION
The hourly wage for this position is $45.90.

Compensation is determined by various factors that may include labor market conditions, education, work experience, and certifications.

ABOUT ASSETS PROTECTION


The Assets Protection (AP) teams are dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of our guests, team members, and brand, especially during crisis situations.

They safeguard profitable sales by minimizing risks associated with shortages, theft, and fraud, ensuring product availability for our guests.


ROLE OF THE ASSETS PROTECTION TEAM SUPERVISOR


As an Assets Protection Team Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Fostering a culture of safety and security, which encompasses crisis management, a robust safety environment, and crowd control planning to support both guests and team members.
  • Implementing daily and weekly AP workload priorities to align with business objectives and achieve targets.
  • Addressing external theft incidents and strategizing to prevent future occurrences.
  • With guidance from leadership, executing strategic responses to external theft and fraud, while adhering to company policies.
  • Collaborating with and educating store leaders on operational priorities related to shortages.
  • Leading a team of hourly associates, focusing on skills such as interviewing, development, evaluation, and retention of talent.

YOUR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
  • Enhancing total store sales and profitability by ensuring product availability for guests.
  • Influencing and validating security and safety protocols; participating in store emergency responses.
  • Assisting your leader in training teams on emergency preparedness and security procedures.
  • Coaching and developing team members to enhance their skills and expertise.
  • Anticipating staffing needs and supporting your leader in effective talent planning.
  • Identifying theft and shortage trends within the store.
  • Working a schedule that aligns with guest and business needs, considering safety and theft patterns.
  • Overseeing the prevention, identification, and resolution of external theft incidents.
  • Supporting internal investigations led by an AP leader or your supervisor.
  • Training team members on merchandise protection and audit execution.
  • Communicating AP priorities to the team, peers, and leadership.
  • Modeling a safety culture by recognizing safe behaviors and addressing safety hazards.
  • Executing strategies set by your leader to achieve business results while prioritizing guest experience.
  • Evaluating and recommending candidates for open positions to build a guest-focused team.
  • Leading team onboarding and training to bridge knowledge and skill gaps.
  • Holding team members accountable to expectations established by your leader.
  • Maintaining all required training.
  • Acting as the first responder for in-store incidents.
  • Assisting your leader in fostering a culture of safety advocacy.
  • Performing other duties as needed based on business requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Compliance with any state or local licensure and legal requirements related to the position.
  • Previous experience in retail or loss prevention is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to lead and hold others accountable.
  • Proficient communication skills across various devices and technology.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Effective workload management and task prioritization skills.
  • Welcoming and supportive demeanor.
  • Strong communication abilities.
