Job Overview

TEKsystems is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager for Global Email & Collaboration Services. This role is pivotal in steering the transition from traditional email systems to the Office 365 suite across a worldwide network. The ideal candidate will also oversee the SharePoint ecosystem and facilitate migrations to SharePoint Online when applicable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage a dedicated support team and processes for service delivery, leveraging both internal resources and partnerships with existing and new collaborators.
  • Create a framework and metrics to assess user satisfaction for the services provided.
  • Oversee licensing and budget management for Office 365 services.
  • Ensure software versions are up-to-date and manage necessary refresh cycles.
  • Promote and implement ITIL practices using ServiceNow to enhance user support.
  • Identify and explore opportunities to introduce innovative collaboration tools to users globally.
Qualifications

Education: A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline is required.

Essential Skills:

  • A robust technical infrastructure background with a minimum of ten years of extensive and relevant experience.
  • Proven experience managing a large-scale global email system, accommodating both office and remote personnel across various devices.
  • Expertise in leading migrations from on-premises Exchange to Office 365 and establishing effective support services.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and its associated products, including OneDrive, Teams, and SharePoint (both on-premises and online).
  • Experience in an ITIL framework.
  • Background in a global operational environment, utilizing outsourced services from multiple partners.
  • Adept at functioning in a collaborative and dynamic setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks, assignments, and projects concurrently.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow is preferred.
