Exciting Role: Senior Manager of Medicaid Technology Transformation - We are in search of a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team. In this pivotal position, you will be instrumental in driving our extensive initiative aimed at enhancing technology within Medicaid programs. This role offers a unique chance to spearhead the modernization of our service delivery systems, ultimately benefiting the residents of Connecticut.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage all facets of the Connecticut Medicaid Enterprise Technology System (CT METS) initiative.
  • Guarantee the effective execution of CT METS program objectives, which include comprehensive service delivery, improved provider support, enhanced program integrity, and upgraded technology frameworks.
  • Lead a team of skilled professionals across various business and technology disciplines.
  • Engage with senior agency executives, state officials, community partners, and technology suppliers.
  • Establish essential performance indicators and metrics to enhance technology delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee vendor agreements and ensure the fulfillment of project goals.

Position Details

  • Work Schedule: Monday through Friday
  • Hours: 40 Hours Per Week
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid model, combining remote and on-site work as required by program needs.
  • Note: This position is a durational appointment, initially contracted for three years, with the potential for permanent placement thereafter.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Business Management.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in the healthcare sector or with Medicaid.
  • Proven track record in leading large-scale technology modernization projects.
  • Experience in managing decision-making processes in a collaborative environment.
  • Expertise in establishing performance metrics to drive efficiency in technology delivery.
  • Prior experience in overseeing vendor contracts within the public sector.
  • Exceptional communication skills for conveying complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Project, SharePoint, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, TEAMS, and Power BI.
  • Understanding of Medicaid policies and financing.
