About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Building Operations Specialist Lead to join our team at Facilities Plus. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our building operations team and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our 1.5 million square foot Class A office building in Washington, DC.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, with a minimum of 7 years of experience as a Building Engineer. Previous supervisory or management experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of all building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Supervision: Supervise Engineering Department staff in the absence of the Chief Engineer or as directed for special projects.
  • Administration: Assist the Chief Engineer in managing daily practices, systems control, and Engineering Department operations.

Benefits: We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, plus benefits including 100% healthcare paid and 12% pension.
