About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Consultant 2 to join our team in Boise, ID. As a key member of our regional work team, you will be responsible for installing, implementing, servicing, testing, and troubleshooting complex patient care and monitoring solutions on IT networks.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring a high-quality service delivery of real-time patient data requirements. You will work closely with a diverse team of internal and external resources, including clinical, sales, and service partners, to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install complex patient monitoring systems, comprising IT infrastructure and patient monitoring equipment, in clinical and non-clinical environments.
  • Provide technical reviews of system configurations to ensure viability of system performance during implementations.
  • Diagnose and resolve electronic, networking, and mechanical problems.
  • Offer technical recommendations that best suit the environment based on customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with the regional work team to coordinate project resources and tasks.
  • Perform administrative duties within established Philips, State, and Federal regulatory requirements and timeframes.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of professional working experience in the IT technologies or electronics industry, preferably in a field or hospital-based service environment.
  • Experience with patient monitoring, telemetry units, ventilators, and defibrillators highly preferred.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics, biomedical, or other related disciplines or equivalent combination of education and experience.
