Job Title: Head Start Home Visitor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Home Visitor to join our team at Family & Children's Place. As a Home Visitor, you will provide early, continuous, intensive, and comprehensive child development and family support services to eligible parents, infants, toddlers, and their families through a series of weekly home visits and scheduled socialization activities.

This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality services to our clients. The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be highly organized and attentive to detail, and be able to effectively prioritize tasks while demonstrating good time management. Responsibilities:

  • Provide home visits to eligible families to assess their needs and develop a plan to support their child's development and well-being.
  • Implement developmentally appropriate activities and interventions to promote the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of children.
  • Collaborate with families to identify and address their strengths and challenges, and provide support and resources to help them achieve their goals.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and program requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions and program activities.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in child development, education, social sciences, or a related field, or willingness to obtain CDA.
  • At least 2 years' experience working with children and families in a human service setting.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive wage of $18.32/hour or more, depending on education and experience. A retention bonus of $300 paid in increments through the first year. If you have language skills, such as Spanish, you receive a language quarterly stipend of $1000. We also offer great benefits, including medical, dental, vision, a 403(B) plan, paid time off (PTO), vacation time, paid sick time, up to 10 paid holidays, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, and schedule flexibility.
