Early Childhood Education Center Director

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Early Childhood Education Center Director to join our team at Early Learning Academies. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our early learning professional leadership team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality early childhood education programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with the Minimum Licensing Requirements (MLR), adhering to health, safety, and licensing guidelines.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate and concise records.
    • Prepare timely and accurate weekly and monthly reports.
  • Employee Management
    • Approve and accurately employee time, attendance, and onboarding new employees.
  • Enrollment and Attendance
    • Conduct informative and professional tours.
    • Familiarize parents with center policies.
    • Maintain complete and up-to-date attendance files for all children, completing yearly updates of all child files in September.
    • Register all parents and regular pick-up people in the touchpad system, explaining policies for signing in and out and security measures.
  • Marketing and Enrollment
    • Develop and implement strategies to address any gaps in marketing and enrollment.

Qualifications

  • Leadership and Management
    • Ability to work between business hours of 7 am - 6 pm with flexibility.
  • Education and Experience
    • HS Diploma.
    • Extensive history of experience in childcare administration or degree related to Early Childhood Education required.
    • Have at least 2 years' experience working with children.
  • Certifications and Clearances
    • Must have a current first aid and CPR card.
    • Obtain a TB test (negative result) prior to beginning employment.
    • Be able to clear a state criminal background check.
    • Produce a clean driving abstract.
