About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead our Head Start program in Greater Louisville. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the administration and management of our Head Start and Early Head Start programs, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and our organization's policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the management of partnerships, supervision of all program operations, and ensure full compliance with Head Start performance standards.
  • Provide fiscal management and program evaluation, planning, and partnerships.
  • Lead a team of staff, including the partnerships director, home-based program director, compliance manager, and education manager.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in early childhood education, social work, human services, public administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in supervision of staff, fiscal management, and program administration required.
  • Experience providing childcare, preschool, and/or early childhood home visitation services for culturally diverse children and families strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Reggio Emilia approach and experience with Head Start/Early Head Start program administration.
