Respiratory Therapist

As a Respiratory Therapist at SSM Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our Respiratory Therapy department.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients for appropriate respiratory care and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Administer prescribed respiratory therapies and monitor patient progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Educate patients and families about respiratory health and provide resources for ongoing support.
- Assist with equipment maintenance and inventory management.
- Respond to medical emergencies and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent experience and education.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensure.
- Ability to work variable shifts and adapt to changing patient needs.
