About the Role:

The Sales Manager at Flexpipe is a key position responsible for driving sales growth and performance in the US market. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve regional targets and drive business growth.
  • Lead and manage a team of account managers and business development professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure they meet their sales objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Applications Engineering, Product Management, and Marketing, to develop tactics and strategies that support sales growth and customer engagement.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions that meet their business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to drive growth and profitability.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to ensure Flexpipe maintains a competitive edge.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5 years of progressive sales experience, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and leading high-performing teams.
  • Experience in sales of pipes, valves, fittings, or production equipment is an asset.
  • Strong financial and business acumen, with the ability to link policies and programs to business objectives.
  • Strategic capability, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Positive attitude, creative problem-solving skills, and strong organizational skills are required.
