The Child Development Center Administrator will oversee the comprehensive operations of the childcare facility, which includes:

  • Educational Leadership:
    • Managing and directing the educational initiatives of the center.
    • Conducting both formal and informal assessments of classroom activities.
    • Leading and facilitating continuous training programs.
    • Providing support on classroom management techniques and behavioral strategies.
    • Reviewing and offering feedback on lesson plans and weekly reflections.
  • Staff Management:

    • Performing staff evaluations and addressing disciplinary matters.

    • Preparing and submitting the annual budget proposal.

  • Facility Management:
    • Overseeing the upkeep of the facility.
    • Collaborating with maintenance teams for necessary repairs and updates.
  • Compliance Assurance:
    • Ensuring adherence to state and local regulations.
    • Maintaining compliance with all state licensing requirements.
    • Pursuing accreditation as applicable.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related discipline, along with a minimum of five years in a supervisory role.
  • A Master's Degree in Education is preferred, with at least 15 credit hours in early childhood education.
