Key Responsibilities
  • Create a positive internal and external customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers.
  • Promote a culture of honesty and integrity, maintaining confidentiality and upholding our company values.
  • Orchestrate truck delivery, prioritizing the processing of merchandise onto the sales floor and ensuring efficient flow of goods.
  • Train and mentor Associates on established merchandising and processing principles, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to succeed.
  • Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded, maintaining our high standards of presentation and organization.
  • Communicate effectively with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure seamless execution of store operations.
  • Monitor productivity of the team and coach as necessary, providing guidance and support to ensure success.
  • Organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment, maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards, ensuring our store looks its best at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs, upholding our commitment to sustainability.
  • Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates, providing progress updates and recognizing achievements.
  • Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback, fostering a culture of growth and development.
  • Partner with Management on Associate training needs, increasing effectiveness and driving results.
  • Ensure adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, upholding our commitment to compliance.
  • Promote credit and loyalty programs, driving sales and revenue growth.
  • Support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs, protecting our assets and driving results.
  • Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment, upholding our commitment to employee well-being.
Requirements
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and responding to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
  • Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Able to train others and provide guidance and support.
  • 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.

This position has a starting pay range of $13.00 to $13.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
