Job Summary:

GCR Professional Services is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct training sessions for inspectors and other personnel to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Manage the Material Review Board to ensure that all materials meet the required standards.
  • Maintain calibration systems to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly.
  • Perform internal audits to ensure that our quality management systems are functioning as intended.
  • Support Documentation Control by reviewing and approving documentation to ensure that it meets the required standards.
  • Develop and update standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure that they are current and effective.
  • Participate in new design processes to ensure that quality is considered from the outset.
  • Develop and implement AS9102 FAIRs to ensure that our products meet the required standards.
  • Support 3rd party audits of our quality system as needed.
  • Facilitate RMAs for customer returns to ensure that they are handled efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with ISO/QS standards.
  • 5 years of experience within the quality profession.
  • Knowledge and experience with LEAN, and 8D tools.
  • Experience leading teams and working with customers.
  • Experience in troubleshooting difficult problems.
  • Experience in internal auditing.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
